The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts and An Appalachian Summer Festival offer High Country residents an opportunity to venture off the mountain for a day full of exquisite art at two of Charlotte’s most prestigious art museums—The Mint Museum and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
Departing from University Hall by motor coach, the group’s first stop will be at the Mint Museum’s uptown location where the exhibition F.O.O.D is on display. After lunch, it is on to the Bechtler Mueseum of Modern Art where a behind the scenes tour will be given in addition to a guide through the galleries.
