The Turchin Center invites families to step out of the cold and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of arts & crafts designed to make the arts fun for children of all ages! Local artists and Appalachian students, coordinated by Pegge Laine, Director of Education and Outreach, will lead activities.
Activities include Scandinavian heart baskets, mouse valentines, tissue paper flowers, secret room books and much more!
Let the artist in you soar to new heights as you explore color, texture and design using a variety of mediums. Parents and children are invited to enjoy the Turchin Center and participate in art making. Drop in for a bit, or stay the whole time!
