There are a number of ways you can support the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts.
The Annual Fund
At the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts we depend on the generosity of friends, collectors and patrons to provide the resources for outreach programs, operational needs and exhibitions. Annual gifts touch the lives of students in schools through our arts outreach programs. In 2010 the Turchin Center staff served approximately 500 K-12 students.
Our outreach programming includes art classes in senior centers and family counseling centers. The goal is to offer arts enrichment opportunities to underserved populations. Your support allows us to reach the residents in the High Country through the visual arts.
The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts offers an impressive exhibition schedule with 25 national and international shows each year. The Center’s cultural and educational resources are unparalleled in the region. Since its opening in 2003, the Turchin Center has built upon Appalachian State University’s longstanding belief that access and interaction with great arts programming is an important to the cultural life of our community and our region.

Curator’s Circle $2500-$4999
Benefactor $500-$2499
Patron $100-$499
Supporter $50-$99
Student $25
Our donors are listed on the TCVA website and Patron level donors are enrolled in the North American Reciprocal Membership Program (NARM). Donors at the Benefactor level and above receive exclusive invitations to private Turchin Center events. Curator’s Circle and Florentine Society Donors are also members of the Chancellor’s Society that includes additional university invitations and benefits. For a complete list of benefits, click here.

Support the Endowment
Understanding the historical and contemporary through the lens of visual arts requires engaging the campus and the community through creative, meaningful and thoughtful programs.
