Annual Report

The past three years have been marked by change, uncertainty and a need for adaptation and resilience — but thankfully, for the arts, the future appears bright! Despite the hardship and upheaval created by the pandemic, the arts have served as a critical lifeline, as we’ve navigated through the past few years together. Through it all, the arts have challenged our minds, fed our souls, inspired us and helped put a complicated world into perspective — serving as a stabilizing force in our lives. In this document, we are pleased to share the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts’ contributions to the human spirit. Our efforts have focused on the three pillars of our programming: exhibitions, education and outreach. As we look to the future with hope and optimism, we are confident that the arts will continue to flourish and enrich our minds, hearts and souls, in good times and bad. The successes over the past year — all of which reflect the goals of our strategic plan — were a collective effort, involving our staff and board, donors, supporters and community partners.
