Connect with your creative side as you follow along with our instructor to create your own little masterpiece. This is a chance to relax, hang out with friends (virtually) and be creative! This step-by-step paint class will be led by Appalachian State University student artist, Brooke Drury.

About the Instructor  Brooke Drury is currently a junior at Appalachian State University working towards her BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting. She has been obsessed with art for as long as she can remember and loves sharing her passion with others. She began teaching paint classes in High School and from those experiences was able to realize how accessible art should be to everyone. Anyone can create something they are proud of as long as they remember not to be afraid of getting messy and getting creative. Brooke began working at Turchin Center her sophomore year as a gallery ambassador and is so grateful to be a part of a community that believes in educating the public about art and sharing visual beauty with everyone. Alongside teaching and creating art, she is overjoyed to be living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains because she gains inspiration from the outdoors every day. She is looking forward to learning more about her own creative process and is glad to be able to share this journey with the Tuchin Center.
