Exhibition Celebrations

Several times a year, to celebrate new exhibitions, the Turchin Center invites the public inside after hours, to “engage, discover and connect through the arts.” It’s an opportunity for art lovers to meet the artists, enjoy a cocktail, hear live music and explore one of the most exciting venues in town: a collection of six galleries filled with a diverse mix of contemporary art from local, regional, national and international artists.

First Friday at the Turchin Center

On the first Friday of every month (excluding January), the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts (TCVA) is open late as part of the Downtown Boone Art Crawl. Residents, visitors and the Appalachian State University community are invited to TCVA to experience the exhibitions featured in its six galleries.
