turchin center for the visual arts

As the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts implements a gradual public re-opening of our galleries, protocols and procedures will follow the recommended guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and Appalachian State University.

We continue to provide access to our galleries and programs through our website, walk-through videos, online ARTtalks, learning guides and virtual workshops. We invite you to take advantage of these online virtual resources, and look forward to seeing you at the Turchin Center soon!

An art classroom serves as a space for art workshops, and a 105-seat lecture hall is home to the ARTtalk series and Lunch & Learn programs as well as provides a venue for educational lectures. Outdoor sculptures are located across the Appalachian State University campus.
