Visiting Families

Family Fun

Family Art-Making Area

The Moskowitz Gallery on the first floor near the main entrance provides a hands-on art making station for families which provides activities related to a current exhibition. Check in at the visitor services desk for additional special activities for children to enjoy while visiting.

Building Entrance

To accommodate those who need a ramp for strollers or little legs, the main entrance can be accessed from King Street via a ramp located to the left of the entrance plaza. If approaching from campus, enter at the ground level lecture hall doors and take the elevator to the main lobby.

Inside the Museum

Strollers

Baby strollers are typically permitted in the galleries. However, there will be times when the layout or high visitor volume in certain galleries will prohibit the use of strollers. Staff will provide guidance during these situations.

Child Carriers

For the safety of children and the art, large-framed child carriers are not permitted in the galleries. Small baby slings and smaller child carriers are allowed, but parents need to be vigilant about their surroundings while in the galleries.

Changing stations

Diaper changing stations are available in the ground floor restroom adjacent to the lecture hall.
