The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, with six rotating gallery spaces, offers multiple exhibition and programming opportunities for established, as well as emerging artists. The TCVA focuses on a variety of techniques in two and three-dimensional media including site-specific installations. Artist proposals will be accepted at any time and are reviewed by our curatorial specialists on a rolling basis. Please see the submittal process below for information on the submission process.

The center also offers an ongoing opportunity in the form of a Request for Proposals that is geared toward artists who are seeking a place of experimentation within gallery walls through site-responsive investigation and installation. Interested artists should locate the guidelines below for additional information. The center will give priority to artists seeking a space for site-specific installation proposals.

Additionally, the center manages several annual competitions which include the Rosen Sculpture Competition and the Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition. These opportunities and deadlines may be found below.
