The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts (TCVA) offers multiple exhibition and programming opportunities for established, as well as emerging artists. The TCVA focuses on a variety of techniques in two and three-dimensional media. Artist proposals will be accepted at any time and are reviewed by committee on a rotating basis. Please see the submittal process below for information on the submission process.

The center manages several competitions that artists may find better suited to their work. These include two annual competitions (The Rosen Sculpture Competition and the Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition). These opportunities and deadlines may be found below.

Additionally, the center also offers an ongoing Request for Proposals that is geared toward artists who are seeking a place of experimentation within gallery walls through site-responsive investigation and installation. Interested artists should locate the guidelines below for additional information. The center will give priority to artists seeking a space for site-responsive proposals.
